NeoMedia Technologies Adds Two New Patents to its Mobile Barcode Patent Family

NeoMedia (News - Alert) Technologies has added two new patent licensees, Paperlinks and CodeBroker, to its portfolio of barcode-related patents. The two new licensees join a growing list of companies actively licensed to use NeoMedia's patents.

The company’s patents have been widely recognized in the industry, with industry-leading companies such as Microsoft (News - Alert) taking licenses to the technology.

CodeBroker develops multichannel, shopper marketing solutions that enable retailers to influence purchase behavior and increase average purchase. CodeBroker solutions are easy to deploy, highly secure, and scalable, allowing retailers to transform mobile campaigns into results-producing shopper marketing strategies.

NeoMedia Technologies (News - Alert) is a provider of 2D mobile barcode technology and infrastructure solutions that enable the mobile barcode ecosystem world-wide. Its technology platform transforms mobile devices with cameras into barcode scanners, enabling a range of practical and engaging applications.

Huitt has more than 20 years of experience driving the financial function at various companies, including Orion Consulting, where he spent the last nine years as Principal and Consultant providing financial operations and funding support for start-up companies. Prior to Orion, Huitt acted as CFO at XsunX Inc., Parking Stripes Advertising, Diamondback Tactical, iSherpa Capital and AirCover Network Solutions (News - Alert).

He holds an MBA in Management from the University of Denver and is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) in Colorado.
